Last post Butterfly~

 This is the last blog for Creative Thinking in this week.semester. I would like to share my photo that I took yesterday at butterfly park. I have apply some photography technique that learn in this semester such as close up shoot and play with white balance. After the shooting, I found out the beauty of the butterfly when I preview the photo.

 There are many design that using the shape of butterfly, the pattern of their wings. It brings out a nice and harmony design and it more to feminine. We also can study the difference pattern that appear in their wings and we can also apply it into our design. It is very creative.

Finally this is the last post in this blog. When the moment I write this blog, it make me think out the box and also training me to be a creative designer. Hahaha~

Smartwatch~

In this 21th century, electronic gadget such as mobile phone, laptop, tablets and mp3 is very common things in our daily life. After apple come out with iphone and ipad. Apple are now planning to invent iwatch. Iwatch looks like normal watch but this watch got multiple function. Foe example, the normal watch is just for us to get to know the time, but iwatch not only for the basic function. Iwatch can features apps, WiFi, bluetooth and would be able to sync up with the iPhone or iPad. It is amazingand it is also very convenience for people nowadays. Actually this idea already come out from Sony company. Their product Smartwatch or Android watch is also can launch internet. This sort of smartwatch is convenience for those people who like jogging or sport. This is because they can listen to music while doing exercise and also they no need worry their mobile phone will lost that using smartwatch to replace mobile phone.

It is a amazing invention that combine mobile phone, mp3 and watch. May be in the future world, we no need laptop or ipad. May be they will invent the spectacle that can access internet and also can do any computer work. May be this is possible. LOL~

Digital Painting

Recently, I saw my friends are taking digital painting course at outside. It really inspired me when I saw them paint it. The final that they create is almost the same like the real image but only it present in different effect. They just use the wacom tablets to draw and colour it. But doing this digital painting need to spend much time to complete one piece. Besides that, we need to be patient while doing the digital painting. They create the tonality for the painting is using stroke that different colour and they also create many brush in their photoshop to do their artwork. I t is awesome when seeing them doing the digital painting. Digital painting is a good field to develop. We can use digital painting in many aspect such as manga, animation and other design. And it is an interesting subject. But the most important thing is need to be PATIENT and NO GIVE UP EASILY. So you can only create a nice artwork.

The first image that I grab from internet. It almost look like a real photo and it is soft. The second image that I also grab from internet. It more look like cartoon style. But the feeling it brings out is very dramatic. In conclusion, digital painting can create different effect for design purpose.

Colour marker

Recently, I am doing for my project 2 for drawing. The media that we use is colour marker. This is the first time to use this media to paint. The first stroke I draw it make me excited. Ya, it is marker but it is a big difference between those normal marken pen. This is because colour marker can use blending technique to create effect. While marken pen just like pen just a stroke which can't do any blending. So the colour marker can create a nice colour tone for the subject matter that we draw. We buy about 31 colour marker for our assignment, it really costly. Before I use it, I feel it is difficult control and if you draw wrong, you can't cover it, not like acrylic. But after I use, I think it is easy to control and just we need to be fast. The colour of the colour marker is nice and close to natural colour. So it can make the painting look nice. It is a good media to use for painting.

This is the first marker painting exercise for the drawing 2. I feel surprise after watching the final. It really look like water colour. And I also very happy with the mark I get for this exercise. So I hope I can do well in my next project which also using colour marker as a media. The next project is about storyboard for advertisement. I hope I can overcome it. FIGHTING!!!

Total Recall 2012

Yesterday, I go KLCC for movie. The movie that I watch is Total Recall. I love the graphic in this movie. The whole graphic are fantastic. The city in the movie is a future city, the city is design like a China town and also the Bangkok floating market. Besides, the world in the movie is a high-tech world. The handphone is a really hand phone. The actor in the movie, their hand is built in with a chip. The just need to put their hands on their ear, it will start to communicate. If they need to do video call, they just need to attach their hand to a mirror or glass. It is fabulous. If this really present in the future world, it really inspired me. Usually the car in the real world is drive on road, but the cars in the movie are flying about the road and it design like a F1 racing car, but it looks more luxurious. I also like the action in this movie, it is real and make audience feel excited. This is a nice shows. Through this movie, we can see the world is develop in high-tech, how high-tech it can be in the future world and everything can be computerised. But I like electronic gadget in this movie, really convenience.

Olympic Opening Ceremony

After a great opening ceremony for Olympic at Beijing 2008, this year Olympic is held at London. First, Beijing opening ceremony is a great performance. It shows the China power, culture and also their strength. The performances are creative, surprise and also inspired me at that time. The design for every part is wonderful~ Especially they use many human resource to complete the performance. This show unite between the citizen of China. The part that inspired me the most is the lighting flame ceremony, Li Ning the ex-athlet slow-running-in-the-sky torch lighting. This is so creative.

 London Olympic 2012 it use a lot of LED light to create the effect. The things that inspired me is they well use the audience seat as a performance part. The each of the seat have a LED light. So the audience will feel like in the 3D world during the performance. It is creative.Besides, Mr.Bean is also the one who make me feel surprise. He is the talent actor.

I hope in 2016 Olympic at Brazil will bring a different performance to the world. May be it is a huge carnival will held at Brazil that time. Hope that the performance will full of colour, culture of Brazil. So people will know well to Brazil.

Creative furniture~

This designer is awesome. How can he design the furniture in so creative way. This really inspired me. You can't believe all the furniture inside the room can contain in the small box. It is so convenience. This let me think of transformer. This design really was a wonderful design for those people who rent room. So they can move it easily. No need to ask for furniture shop help them to move those furniture. Inside the box contains bed, bookshelf, table, chairs and wardrobe. This look like portable furniture. If this design really in the market, it sure will get good respond. Hope I can get it. I think the price will be expensive.

Galaxy Note~

Yesterday I went KLCC for pc fair. I noticed the Samsung corner are doing demonstration for their brand galaxy note. So I also walk to have a look. There are one guy demonstrate the phone by drawing on the phone. This really make me feel shock, nowadays our technology already reach at so high tech. Few years ago, if we using our phone to draw something, it sure very difficult to control. But nowadays, drawing on the phone just like drawing on the paper. So easy to control and so

realistic.

May be after a few years, during drawing class, all the students are using this sort of high tech machine to draw or sketch. This also can help to save the paper, so do not need to chop so much tree. Save our earth!!!

Ernest Zacharevic Penang Art~

This artist name Ernest Zacharevic painted many kind of different image on the wall at Armenian Street, Muntri Street, and Chew Jetty at penang. This is just a old buildings before this, but now it turn to a wonderful artwork. The painting make the whole building become interesting and amazing. How can this artist think of this creative way to present his feeling and inspiration. The painting he draw really look vivid. The painting he draw really bring out the penang heritage feel. This will also attract tourist to visit those place. I hope I can visit there someday.

The images above make the drawing became more interesting. The 1st one, the people act like have been hit by the bicycle. The 2nd one is the people chase after the children. The 3rd is the guy sitting behind the bicycle. So this painting can show different kind of feeling. This series of image really inspired me and it really show the realistic in our daily life.

Cube Tv screen~

I saw this when I go out for photoshooting. This one really inspired me. This because we always saw those tv screen attach to the buidings. But we seldom saw the tv screen make into 3D cube shape. This is very creative, make people having fresh eye about it. This also can attract people attention. Besides, we also can make it into many shape that we want. May be can try it in round shape, triangle shape... If in diamond shape sure will be more interesting. Each angle also can view it.

"Beepping UFO"

Last few days, I went to snowflake for my dessert. I wander that why the cashier give us the plate?? Yes, it look like plate but it actually not. When I am waiting at the collection counter, I don't know why they give us this "plate". And I only noticed the sticker on the "plate". It is the information of the function of the "plate". This make me feel curious and very inspired me. hahaha~ This is very embarrassed for me to say that this is  my first time to experience with it.

This is what the "Beeping UFO" look. This is a good invention.

The light will on and the UFO will vibrate when our orders is ready. So this really give convenience to the customer. During the peak time, the custom no need to queue at so long time to wait to their turn. This is also a solution to cure the impatient customer. This is because some customer don't like to queue and wait for long time to collect their food. So with this "Beeping UFO", they can actually wait at their own seat and only collect it when it is ready. Nowadays, the technology is so wonderful.

Creative~

Today I go shooting at mid valley. Design of this two mickey inspired me. The designers are so creative. The 1st mickey is using the magazines pages and cut to small pieces and stick on the mickey. And it really look nice and fresh to me. The most inspired me is the 2nd mickey. The designer using the screws to design and using the metal wire to joined the body and legs and also hands. This also can fully used the waste.

Sunday Afternoon on the Island - La Grande Jatte

 

 This drawing "Sunday Afternoon on the Island" which is paint by La Grande Jatte. This drawing inspired me, this artwork just use dots to create the figure and it is very different with other artworks. This artwork spend almost 2 years to complete. Need to produce this drawing need to have a high perseverance. This is because this not an easy job. If you want to produce a masterpiece you need to sacrifice and need to have high perseverance.

I think this designer is so creative. This picture gt 2 view. 1 is front view and another is side view. This make me feel that we can think many ways and not only just one way to deal with everything. If we think many ways we will get different result and can experience new things. So in our life, we need to try new things and we will get more by trying new things.
